A new Heart Weekend schedule sees the beginning of a few new presenters gracing the airwaves.

A name that will stand out to many, is that of Rochelle Humes, who is to host a weekly show across the Heart network, starting this Saturday. The former star of The Saturdays will be on-air from 4pm till 7pm.

It’s been a good start to 2018 for Spotify as they released news via Twitter that they have reached 70 million subscribers.

In September, Apple released a statement that they have 30 millions subscribers, placing them a cool 40 mill behind their streaming competitors.

New presenters and channels announced for the KISS brand.

KISS has launched two new channels – KISS Jams and Grime available on the KISS Kube App– and launches two new shows on weeknights.

Lyca Radio UK has gained a digital sound programme service (DSPS) licence to broadcast on the Sound Digital DAB multiplex.

Ofcom reports the service will be “a music-led service with a particular emphasis on British Asian Urban artists within a music mix that also appeals to young and older British Asian listeners. The station’s daytime output will include a mix of music, chat and phone-ins relevant to a wide range of listeners.”

Podcast of the Week: The IAB UK Podcast

This week’s Podcast Pick of the Week has landed and it’s a special one!
